Proton Savvy turns over but will not start?
I'm assuming when you say "converter" your referring to the catalytic converter (Cat)? Sadly in modern vehicles doing a "Straight Swop" on a transmission isn't that simple. Your vehicle's engine and transmission electronics are set up for an Automatic transmission. It will have some sensors that a manual doesn't have and not have other sensors a manual does need.
Did you have the vehicle's ECU, (brain), reprogrammed to work with a manual transmission. If you didn't the ECU will be getting confused signals which can put it into some sort of 'Safe' setting.
Removing (Deleting) the Cat can also cause issues.
The Muffler and the Audio kit shouldn't affect the engine unless there's been a mistake wiring in behind the head unit.

Proton Savvy 2010 Semi-auto - am I able to replace the gearbox with a used/reconditioned gearbox or must I repair the one in the car?

(dial up youtube see tranny overhaul and watch )???????if life was this simple even young kids can fix cars.if all on car tests fail for the box there are only 3 choices1:new box2:or rebuilt.so go shopping in your secret country and learn what is actually available.3: fix yours.repairing the one in the car if (new solenoids add speed sensors are no cure,is huge down time. gee ask a local repair shop this.we have no such car here USA and no parts.there are about 10 on car tests. for tranny problemsdo those yet? per service manual or like I use ATSG MANUAL FOR JUST THE BOX. your tests are all wrong, and wrong order.
the engine must be good (we do tests to prove that)

then spark is next. if the PCM detects spark bad it cuts fuel on
PURPOSE . so spark is tested fully now, and not just 1 spark plug but all must be good. for sure 4 cylinders good
last is fuel not first ever. ok? see that logic
you can not burn fuel with a dead engine or dead spark
dead engines can be a
snapped cam belt. super common seen at 100k miles, zero service, done in cam.
