HAVE olympus 1010 stylus and the lens won't pop
The internal plastic gears which govern the lens opening and closing are either damaged or out of alignment - this happens when a camera is dropped or has any other form of physical interaction for which it is not designed.
Olympus Camedia 450 Zoom digital
Are images actually being saved to the card, not just to the camera's internal memory ? Also, is the card the correct size for the camera ? Some cameras cannot cope with cards greater than 8 or 16 - check the manual.

My olympus fe was dropped when the lens was
Since a replacement is available for £46 on Amazon, and the repair charge would probably be at least that if not more, i should just replace it. And this time, don't drop it.
Large, bright orange light streak in pictures
It does sound like a light leak, but hopefully all that has happened is that the foam seals surrounding the film compartment have perished and need replacing. With luck, this is unlikely to be expensive - check with your local camera shop or second hand camera dealer.
I am looking to buy
Dear
olympus m9010. AFAIK, there is no way that any digital camera can display the date etc on the image, since this is all contained within the EXIF data, and requires software to read it.

I never had a problem
There is no repair on this camera that you can do, you have 2 choices, send it back to Olympus for exchange unit (very costly) or just replace it.
D40 Zoom and Camedia Software
Camedia software leaves a lot to be desired. I prefer to use a USB media reader and Google's excellent Picasa software to manage my photos.
Olympus SP-550 UZ won't focus properly
If practically new have the auto focus circuitry repaired under warranty. If not under warranty it will cost a pretty penny since working on those units is labor intensive and the parts are proprietary and expensive..
