I never had a problem with my Olympus camera, until now. My cameras LCD screen doesn't turn on, it would come on then immediately turn off. I then plugged it onto my t,v and it would tell me battery cover open; when it was closed. On the other hand, the red light on the right hand corner by the LCD screen is blinking red.Not to mention, the lens cover opens fine, and I do believe it is water damage, How can i fix this myself. I cant really afford to go out and pay someone nor can i buy a new one. Please help.

You need to make sure that the memory card is correctly installed on the camera and that its door lock is closed.

If it is a rechargeable battery, it may be bad. Start with that first. If your camera will accept standard AA batteries try those too. (just to test) Your 330 requires a LI42B or LI40B battery.
Check page 47 of your manual. Tells you about the battery. Your described problem sure points to a bad battery. Don't have the manual?? Download it here free.
