lay it down flat on its screen just make sure it is padded so the screen doesnt get scratched. I transport projection units this way all the time even DLPs however do not transport LCD or plasma units

tv was laying on its back how long befor turning it on you can turn it on instantly if you would like. it doesnt effect tvs to be transported laying down
