How to transport a 56 inch general electric projector tv

That set cannot have a convergence problem as it has no convergence circuit, It is a DLP set with a lamp.

Some of these had problems where the micro for the Dlp gets confused, they have a jig to connect the set to a computer and download two updates on sd cards---it may or may not cure this but this is a shop repair.

Know how to solders?Take the tv aparts.Check the power board for those Capacitors puff up or burst open.Replaced these capacitors,well get ur power back.Or buy a whole refurbish power board at Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com for replscement.

The clicking sound is the TV trying to restart itself. It generally attempts this several times before giving up. The blinking code indicates the type of error (error codes are documented in the manual for the TV). The most likely cause is a burned out bulb, but could be something else.
If it is a bulb, it is usually replaceable without a service technician, and at a cost far less than $450.

Do any of the lights on the front clink at all or is the set completely dead?

Most likely the lamp is defective and see your owners manual for lamp replacement instuctions.
