My hp officejet j6480 won't shut off when pressing the power button. The only way it well shut off is that I unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Also, nothing seems to work when power cord is plug in the outlet. I had the power adapter check and that's working fine. Took off the front face plate and check all the button for stickness and they all work. Can't figure out the proplem - neee help!

Press the Setup button ( ).

1. Press the Right arrow button ( ) until Tools displays on the control panel, and then press OK .
2. Press the Right arrow button ( ) until Fax Log displays on the control panel, and then press OK .
3. Press the Right arrow button ( ) until Clear Fax Log displays on the control panel, and then press OK . A message that says the fax memory is clear displays on the control panel.
4. Press the Cancel button ( ) to exit.
