Hi,

This is very simple. When making call, press the right hand side of the central key to increase the volume and the left hand side of the of the central key to decrease the volume.

The central key is the big key at the top central of the phone.

Thank you and God bless you for contacting FixYa

I can't hear peoples voices when they call. The volume only works for the ringer

If you want to change volume of the caller's voice, then try adjusting the volume control WHILE you are actually talking on the phone during a call.

If you try to adjust the volume when there is no call in progress, then the volume controls will only change the ringer volume.

If you provide the exact model number of your particular device, then we may also be able to provide you with the User's Manual for your phone.

I hope that was helpful Loli.

Good luck and take care.

Joe.

I can hear callers but they cannot hear me. Mute is not engaged,

Please see the link below for the User's Guide.

• Headset is muted. Long press (3 sec.) the volume down button on headset to unmute the microphone. See page 16.
• Improper positioning of voice tube. Try various other positions.
• Voice tube may be clogged. Remove voice tube and test to see if callers can hear you without it. If they can, then replace the clogged voice tube. See page 18.
• Speaking volume is too low. Increase the speaking volume by
adjusting the speaking volume minor adjust buttons on the base unit as described on page 16. If the volume is still too low, select another speaking volume major adjust setting as described on page 16.
• Incorrect configuration dial setting for your phone. Try other
phone configuration dial settings on the base unit. Ensure the
selected number is in line with the position indicator. See page 14.

The volume on one of my Gigaset 8825 mobile handsets is very low. I have adjusted the handset volume to the max setting but still can barely hear the ringer. Is there another way to adjust the handset...

Hi, you can try to change the profile settings of the phone, because sometimes even if the volume is full but if the profile settings is on low, the sound will still be low.
Thank you for using Fixya.

Ringer is set at max but is hard to hear

If the ringout volume is very low, then try not to select a soft, silent or low ringing tone. Try to choose a ringing tone that is loud so that you can hear your phone ringout.
Hope that was helpful?

Incoming calls: the caller can hear me but I can barely hear the caller

If you have already adjusted the volume of your cellphone, then the problem is in the earpiece. If the phone dropped accidentally the earpiece loosens its contact and you need to open the phone to adjust the contacts. If the phone was not dropped, the earpiece is busted and needs replacements.

I recently started having problems with my phone where I can barely hearing what the caller is saying.the callers voice is exptremely low on the other end. What is causing this problem?

Hi,
I assume this is not a Motherboard problem, but rather a problem with your Cell phone?
It sounds like you have turned down the Volume control on your phone.
A lot of cell phones have a Volume up and down function buttons on the side of the phone. If there are two small buttons try pushing the upper button. Usually you will see the Volume bar increase on the phone screen
It may also be adjustable in the phones Menu. Try the Phone settings option in the phone menu. It may also be under the Tones or ringer setting.
Have a look in your user manual or visit the manufactures website. eg Nokia, Samsung, etc etc
Cheers,
Steve

I can barely hear people speak.

To adjust the volume on the Nokia 2600 simply have someone call you and use the "arrow keys" to the left and right of the "menu" key. The volume will show as a line bar, the center of this bar is adequate for most people. When you hang up, the setting will remain.
