My old TV does'ny have any place to insert plugs. Can I use It?

To change the lamp on your Hitachi 50V500A Digital Ultravision TV, please follow these steps:

1. Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the lamp cover on the back of the TV. It is a small plastic cover held in place by a screw.
3. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw and take off the lamp cover.
4. Locate the lamp cartridge and pull the handle to remove it from the TV.
5. Unscrew the lamp cartridge and remove the old lamp.
6. Insert the new lamp into the cartridge and screw it back in place.
7. Reinsert the lamp cartridge into the TV and push it all the way in until the handle clicks into place.
8. Replace the lamp cover and screw it back in place.
9. Plug the TV back in and turn it on. Check to make sure the new lamp is working properly.

It is recommended to refer to the user manual or seek professional help if you are not comfortable doing this yourself.

First you will need the correct size spark plug socket and a longer extension bar for it. Most sets are not expensive to buy.
ONLY REMOVE ONE PLUG LEAD AT A TIME!!!
Make sure there is no loose dirt on the area your working.
Using it's cap, (not the wire), pull out the first plug lead. Insert the socket and gently push into place. Plug sockets have a rubber insert fitted to grip the plug as you lift it out. Using firm (but not rough) pressure, unscrew the old plug.
For the new plug, REMOVE the ratchet and insert the plug into the socket using the rubber insert to hold it in place. Lower the plug into place and GENTLY screw it into place, using the extension bar like a screwdriver. If you hit resistance unscrew and try again. A stripped screw thread is VERY expensive to fix. Tighten the plug to 35Nm (25ft/lb). REFIT the plug lead BEFORE moving to the next spark plug.
Repeat for each spark plug in sequence.

if your unit is old enough to "not" have a gfci on the plug that goes in wall then im not aware it has any fuse inside it that could go bad , instead these rely on the homes proper electrical ckts to provide fuse/breaker functions that keep a fire from resulting if appliance overloads , now as for reasons of overloads these are many ! can be anything from water in the wrong place to a damaged motor inside

due to age , id start by seeing if it has any spark in plug , remove plug wire and insert 1/4 bolt , arrange near by a metal bolt or other item (not handle ) and do not hold bolt near item
turn ign switch on (don't bother with choke) and pull engine over several times , observe 1/4 bolt for blue sparks (dim lights if necessary )
no spark present , trouble shoot ign system farther
spark present - remove and clean plug with good solvent
add a little bit of engine start fluid to plug hole and reinstall plug and wire , attempt to start engine , nothing - compession problem or shorted plug if it sputters but doesn't start then its a carb problem , troubleshoot carb (clean it )

do nothing except reset, if in warranty call Mitsubishi.

The new control pad has a removeable plug. Take it out and insert the old touchpad plug in its place.
Should be 2 qick connect snaps on the new control to remove the insert.
