First, check the outlet that it's plugged into, to make sure that there's still power to the outlet. If there isn't, then the circuit breaker for that outlet has been tripped, in your home's circuit breaker panel. Leave the dehumidifier unplugged and reset the circuit breaker. If it trips again, without the dehumidifier unplugged, then the outlet is at fault. Perhaps there's a loose wire connection or the interior of the outlet is cracked.

If it didn't trip without the dehumidifier plugged in, plug the unit it in,. But, before you do, make sure the dehumidifier's Master ON/OFF Switch is OFF. Once it's plugged in, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set your controls. If it runs now, GREAT! If it trips the circuit breaker again, there's either a short in the power cord or an internal electrical short. Which will require extensive troubleshooting to find.

Hope this helps you solve the problem. Please let me know. Thanks.

Kenmore 54351 Dehumidifier is leaking -- water isn't going into the tray, but seems to be leaking out into the floor.

Mine is doing the same thing. The bucket is dry and the floor is flooded, so it is not an inability to condense, and it is not that the bucket has overflowed, and the bucket does not have a leak. It had been working great and then this suddenly started happening, it's as if the water is not flowing along the proper route and instead is gathering behind the bucket.

Hello Shane

Mine won't beep at all. But try this trick I watched the guy do when he came to service mine for the recall they had and push Humid button fan button and power button first hold the first two then push the power button and hold all three for awhile. What this did for him was verify all systems working all the lights came one in sequence.

I do this to mine and will beep twice and nothing else. I've taken mine apart to check the fuse and it's still good so there must be a component that is not working.

On the back of your unit you will find a 800 number which will get you in touch with Trans Global Service which serviced it for the recall.

You have already checked everything I would have suggested, so the only other thing I can think of is the temperature in the room, may be affecting it. If the ambient room temperature is above 112 degrees or below 32 degrees, the unit will shut OFF and not restart, until the temperature is within that range.
If you continue to have problems starting the unit, contact Haier America Customer Support 877-377-3639.

Hope this provided some help to you.

Won't come on

Definitely check the air filter, it has a sensor and will stop working if it's dirty. Easy to clean by running water through it.

No power

Factory Default Setting:
When the unit is first connected to a power supply, the
electronic circuit board will automatically default to the
following factory settings;
Mode: Dehumidifier
Humidity Set Air Value:60% RH
Fan Speed: = Low
NOTE: In the event of a power failure or the unit is
switched ‘Off’, the most recent settings are retained and
restored once the power is switched “On”/resumed.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Depending on the ambient humidity
conditions, when power is restored or switched ‘On’ the
dehumidifier may not start automatically under the factory
or custom (see page 7) default setting. This is an indication
that the ambient RH% level of the surrounding environment
is lower than the current default setting and it
may be necessary to select a lower set RH% value.
