I picked up q CD player(Sony XPLOD CDX GT929U) and hooked it up in my car,was working great these past few days,before shutting my car off i always power down my CD player and when i start my car i will turn it back on,the issue im having is when i turn my car on and power up my deck(using tilt button to power on and pop CD out)the CD comes out and i put back in nothing happens no back lighting,no music,when it does work i normally put the CD back in and it turns right on and starts playing,this hasn't been happening recently,every time it doesn't work i have to repeatingly do these steps over and over again to get it to turn on which is by pushing tilt button,pop out CD and pop back in until it eventually works anybody have any clue whats going on

do you mean the blue light on the power button? it sounds like your radio's switched power input (usually red) is hooked up to a 12 volt constant source.
did you buy a factory radio connector to connect the old harness to the new radio wiring if not you can get one at wall mart for 20 dollars and it will be color coded
