When power on printer DCP 135C an error disply as clean unable 46.see troubleshooting and routine maintence chapter in user guide

printer is flashing "CLEAN UNABLE REFER TO 46- TROUBLESHOOTING AND ROUTINE MAINTENANCE IN USER'S GUIDE..BROTHER 2480C

for non fax models ie I have DCP 165C you say press ...... press up arrow four times then press 8 then 0 etc ... but I have no numbers to press!

Read the users guide and do what they say in the Troubleshooting and Routine Maintence Chapter for the "Print Unable 50" error message.

DCP-135C after inserting new inks message reads "Maintenance and users guide chapter 46 cannot clean" Will not print.

Hi there. . . okay . . . Follow this step
1.) Unplug your printer.
2.) Plug your printer again while holding the menu button 15 sec.
3.) select 8 by using the arrow buttons ,push OK and select 0 and push OK
4.) then numbers appear looks like this ###:### ###:###.
5.) now push the MONO button until the purge:#### appears on the LCD
6.) Select 2, push ok, select 7,push ok,select 8,push ok, select 3,push ok

7.) - switch off the printer ,switch it on
- ready to print
