Somehow the child lock has come on on our telly it is a logik 32" lcd tv dont know the model number, firstly how do I switch the telly on and secondly how do I get child lock off? thanks

Heya dude, iv got the exact telly as mentioned. Had this problem just recently. i tried everything, switching off power, unplugging everything. i was just about to start looking for a new telly when i tried using the remote.i pressed the menu button a few times,mabe this was a fluke or maybe it just sorts the problem out. It seems to me that this problem is a built in pixel fixer which somehow starts itself. Hope i help

try to switch the tv off by the mains for 1 hour and plug it in again. see it this works.

try the power button if this switches off your telly press select to save the code if not repeat TV and then Power until it does... remember to press select once it knocks your telly into standby.

if you have not joy with this then you are going to have to get a newer sky remote. if you take the battery cover off the back of the remote you will see a sticker on there saying REV 4,6,8 the higher the number the newer the remote. then do the process again.

I am having the same problem ,your TV has been child locked.In order to unlock it , on the remote control,there is a MUSIC BUTTON.You must press and hold this button for about 10 seconds and it will unlock your TV

What is the model number of your Logik tv ?

We have a Sony 14 inch colour television which has somehow had the child lock activated errorneously when we were testing all menu options. At the moment we switch on the tv and you cannot press any key/button except on/off button. How do we remove/deactivate this. How eeprom can be reseted or replaced and where is it located on the television set.

what is make and model also have you tried unplugging at mains and leaving off for an hour or so to reset any setting.

The child lock should only work when the telly is switched on from the tellys i have worked on anyway but maybe different on your make and model so let me know then i can have a look for you
