Hey there just have simple question: Is it possible to lock setting for the different modes? I have found that a little brighter for movies and games works for me but I think that it keeps switching back or I'm not really accepting the changes, thank you.

What is the difference between original Gameboys made in China vs being made in Japan?

Well I have 2 original Gameboys one that is made in China and one that is made in Japan. I have noticed that the power lights are different styles from one and other and the screens are different too. The one that is made in China the screen looks a little brighter and the screen is a little bigger too and a little more of a bigger square too one that's made in China and they are made in two different contries then.

Adjust backlight respectively asin the brighter the room the higher the backlight setting the darker the room the lower if you go below 16(if the room is totally dark, turn backlight to 0 and bump up brightness 3 or 4.

Good luck

c

p.s. the cinema setting is pretty darn good for out of box calibrations just turn off high contrast, colors, tru motion for normal non 100% computer generated movies for example, finding nemo and the rest of the animated movies look excellent with tru motion regular film is too video like it looks like soaps to me but hey you may like it so whatever floats ur boat do you have blu ray player, well if ur going to get one get the bdps350 as it does 24fps excellent and well so does your tv it actually uses 5:5 pulldown which is great. (leave tru motion off when feeding 24fps/ real cinema!)Great tv pick dont follow the hype lg is a good brand. lol no i dont work for lg just sick of the sony, samsung, sharp fans. As far as lcd goes lg70 is it right now. I didnt calibrate for sd but i would say they should be pretty close honestly. ill check when i get time.

Hey

Is this for watching videos? If so then the first time you watched a movie on ps2 you had to enter a 4-diget code. That is the code for watching movies un less you some how change it through the settings. If you don't remember the code try changing ti through settings. Other than that you could call sony playstation or try every possible number. (You might have just clicked x 4 times when this happened for the first time and accidentally set the code to 0-0-0-0 I accidentally did that.

Night time scenes have become almost impossible to see.

I had the same problem. Figured the 8 yr. old set was on it's last legs. Read everything I could find and nothing helped. But, luckly I did the following and it's like new again! try the following: Press MENU, selectSETUP, select DPO, set it OFF. DPO automatically controls Contrast, BLACK LEVEL (Brightness) and Color. Now press Menu, select PICTURE, then select BLACK LEVEL and run it out to plus 25. your picture should be brighter. Then adust Contrast,Color and Black level to your liking.
Good luck!

Psp

Could be as simple as you put the UMD with wrong direction.

The UMD games are universal, which mean any game can be played on any psp. But the UMD movies are region specific, you can only play UMD movie with the region set according to your psp.
