Do you mean that a CD or DVD is stuck in the CD/DVD drive?
If it does not eject by pushing the eject buttom on the front of the CD/DVD drive, then straighten a paper clip and insert it into the tiny hole just below the drive tray and push the paper clip gently in the hole. The drive tray will pop out slightly, then grab the tray and pull it out until you can remove the CD or DVD disk.

Disc Eject Prohibit: This feature keeps the disc from ejecting even if the eject button is pushed. The disc eject prohibit feature is engaged/disengaged by pressing the CD and Eject buttons simultaneously for more than 2 seconds.
This is normally as sign that the writer is faulty, especially if ejecting on your pc's start up.

Go to my computer>properties>hardware>device manager and look down the list for your cd/dvd drives and click the '+' sign then highlight your dvd drive and right click to delete.
Restart the pc and windows will find the drive again automatically and install the drivers
