Our card printer has suddenly stopped working. It turns on fine, but it won't pick up the cards anymore and when I try to print it reads "error". I'm wondering if it is no longer compatible with my computer because it automatically updates itself and the printer does not?

I have read through the user manual for your device. It doesn't seem to cover issues with two sided prints on ID cards. I recommend calling Zebra for support. Here is their contact information: Good Luck..

There are recovery programs available. Google SDHC data recovery.

Try using another SD card to see if that one will read. If so, there is a problem with your SD card.
But if that card is also unable to be read, and your phone is fully updated, there is a problem with the reader on your HTC handset. You can contact HTC for a repair or a replacement. You might even have some luck at the retailer where you originally bought your phone. It's a fairly new model.

Try reinstalling the drivers for your HP this just happened to me today i reinstalled the drivers and it worked great

If this is a recent problem that just popped up I would clear out the print que on your computer where it says "failed to print"
Turn off the printer for a few seconds then turn it back on. Wait 1 minute then try printing again. If this does not resolve the problem then do the same again but also reboot your PC. 9 times out of 10 when a printer suddenly stops printing, rebooting the printer, the PC or both will fix the problem.
If none of this works then you could have a bad network card in the 4100.

If there printer is not able to print on card stock then check the recommend
card stock paper thickness, if the printer works with normal paper but not card stock then there is problem in the card stock and by using this paper may also damage the rollers on the printer and make the printer useless ...

I have the same camera and the same problem. Can't use SD cards anymore, only the obsolete Multimedia Cards that are extremedly hard to find on shops because SD cards are the substitute for them... hope you can find a Multimedia Card. At least mine works fine with them.

Hi: What do you mean with "it will not go back into the camera"? Do you mean that the camera cannot read the card? Or do you mean that the card doesn't fit anymore? If the problem is the reading of the card in the camera ask yourself if you carry a mobile with you near the card... that can make the card to stop working :) If the problem is the second choise you have to see if the card is ok or the place where you insert the card. It can be damaged with a fall or something... Regards
