Examine the mechanical section for signs of damage. Such as broken plastic parts. I should treat the mode switch as possibly faulty with any vcr showing these kind of compliants.

Locked door flashes and oven will not start

Per GE Service bulletin # RA 03-01:

Serial Numbers affected: TZ, VZ, ZZ, AA, DA

Door will not open after self clean cycle due to motorized latch motor stuck in closed position or grinding noise during motorized lock operation.
Both issues are caused by interference of the inner vent trim slot with the latch arm as it travels to the closed position.

Correction:
Replace both the lock motor (WB14T10008) and inner vent trim (WB07T10179).
Failure to replace the inner vent trim will not correct the problem long term, and subsequent lock motor failures will occur.

Casette is stuck in my panasonic nv-hd 680 vcr and display shows F4.Could anyone tell me how to solv it -please !!

I believe F4 means the mechanism is locking up when unloading the tape. You should look into the operation of the loading motor.

What does panasonic vcr pv-4950 error code 03 mean?

Not certain if your model uses the K Mech/Deck (try searching the net to see if it does) If it do!
F03 means locks when unloading. The cause will be the load motor or drive, timing, or mode switch.

Runs forever! even on Normal wash...help !!

The most obvious failure would be the mechanical timer that is behind / part of the knob used to select the cycle.

But, you may want to inspect the heating element in the sump area -- some dishwashers will wait (and wait) for the water temp to come up high.

Good Luck!
