Hi there, my sony projection is been flashing red when turning on tv.There is sound but no picture.Then the flashing light turns of and so does the tv.What is wrong please.

a sony should only blink up to 8 times. If its continuous without any pause that usually means
No reply from the jungle (data bus is busy, shorted to ground or held
high), IK video path is defective.

I own a Sony T.V. model #KV36HS510, Serial # 9024184,Event# E36002407 and it"s aTrinitron brand name. Like the problems before no picture or sound, stand by light on front of unit flashes. When trying to turn it back on you can hear the power click, like it wants to turn on, but does not.
