I cant find the password for my netgear - NetGear RangeMax WPN824 Wireless Router (WPN824NAR)

To RESET the Netgear, power up the Netgear then press andhold the RESET button at the back of the router until all the LEDs flash.Connect a LAN cable from the Netgear to the LAN port on yourcomputer, open a browser and enter the Netgear configuration URL -

The default login = admin
The default PW = passwordYou can now change the default admin password and configurethe wireless settings.
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Now apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

the default username and password for netgear routers is username is " admin " password is " password ". you should be able to access your netgear page by now.

You can get the password of the wireless signal by going to the Interface of the Netgear, just type 192.168.1.1 on the address box on internet Explorer. if you will be asked for the username and password. Just type admin for the username, and the word 'password' for the password. now you should be able to navigate the settings of the wireless on the netgear router. Hope this helps you.

By default "ADMIN" is the user name and "PASSWORD" is the password, but if you changed it and cant remember it--you can press the RESET button on the back (use a paper-clip) that will reset everything to the "Out-Of-The-Box" settings

Which password?

Telephone Comcast, and ask them for the password for the router that they supplied, so that you can "login" to the router to make configuration changes.

Or, run the "Wireless Network Setup Wizard" to configure the ID & password for your wireless network.

Key 1 should work in most cases. If you have additional keys listed, try them also.
If none work, turn off encryption and connect your new device, then create a new password.
