How do I restore my factory settigs? I don't have a cd. I have a satellite L35

Hi,
You will need the restore cds that came with your laptop. Insert the restore cd in your dvd drive and restart your computer. When the message "Press any key to boot from cd" press enter.
Then follow the on screen instructions to restore your computer.

Your laptop is looping. You will need the boot CD given to you by your manufacturer or you may need to purchase one from your local Best Buy or other local computer store. After the initial scree displaying your manufacturer is displayed and the CD is in the drive, the computer will ask if you want to boot from CD, you select yes, and you shoudl be able to log in fine. If that does not occur, it is possible that you may have a computer virus. If you do have a virus, you may need to reload your OS from the CD. You will loose all data if you are not practicing proper backup practises.

you need to have the disks that came with the PC... or download the drivers for the devices you have on the PC and reformat the harddrive and install a fresh version of your favorite OS...

CAUTION: Once the Recovery process has begun, do not interrupt it.

The computer's hard drive will be formatted, erasing its contents. All of the software that was installed on the computer when it was manufactured will then be re-installed.
6. Once the Recovery process is complete, remove the Recovery disc, and press any key to restart the computer.
