Sqeecking noise when spinng - Maytag Washing Machines

Here ya go...this is a common problem for Maytag washers:

This is usually attributed to the brake and/or the snubber becoming worn. I would recommend replacing both of them. A special tool is required, however, to remove the brake assembly.
