I don't want to change source to use Chromecast. I want it to change automatically.

It is unlikely that your TV can read your mind as to which source you want to chose. All sources are active simultaneously. Only switching to the chromecast location will chose it.

Check the Audio configurations. From the start menu go to control panel and audio settings and check the out-put devices, as somtimed you need to select the inernal speakers manually if you have previously changed them to an exteral source. I just bought these LS11. 2 speakers about a week ago. My HDMI output is plugged into my tv and was the source of sound for a while. Now that Im trying to plug these in, I can't get sound to come on for...

I'm confused - 1. I know that a speaker does not need drivers to operate - they just need an amplified audio signal to produce sound. 2. An HDMI output has a digital video and audio signal to transfer from a source like a computer or DVD player to a destination, like a TV set or an AV system. You might have a problem with your sound card in your computer. I think you're missing a AV component system in your set-up - like a physical receiver or AV hardware.
