Check the Audio configurations. From the start menu go to control panel and audio settings and check the out-put devices, as somtimed you need to select the inernal speakers manually if you have previously changed them to an exteral source. Click internal speaker and run the diagnosis. You should be able to hear a beeping sound.

Sound will not come on the televison

Most televisions have a setting that controls whether the TV uses its internal speakers or sends the sound to the audio out jacks for an external amplifier or speakers. This setting will prevent any sound from coming out of the internal speakers.
Try going through the settings menu and follow through the audio/speaker selections and confirm that the TV is set to use internal speakers.

It sounds like you left the tv set's internal speakers on after hooking up the sound bar.You should turn off your internal speakers via the Menu on the on screen display and go to audio. There you should find something about the speakers (on/off). Turn off your internal speakers and enjoy the sound bars great sound.

Not sound on pc matherboard g33mo2 from dell

There was a problem with the internal speakers with this model.
Firstly, try a pair of external speakers plugged into the sound port, if these work , the issue lies with the internal ones.

If there is no sound through the external speakers, check that you have the sound driver installed, that the volume is set using the FN and F keys and that the sound icon on the desktop bar does not have a x through it indicating it is disabled.

You can download an updated sound driver from the Dell site, although i think Windows 7 comes with its own sound driver for this.

If the problem points to the internal speakers, you have a few choices:
Return the laptop to Dell under warranty (if it is under warranty)
Try to obtain a set of internal speakers and replace these
Takr the laptop to a computer shop and get them to check the internal speakers and repair if necessary

No headphone sound, but internal speaker works fine.

Hello,

Hello,

It is because that your internal speaker is the default play back device other than your head phone or external speaker.

Need to go to your sound setting.

Depend on your operating system, click Start, then click Control panel, then click Hardware and Sound, click Sound.

Under Playback tab, select your external speaker or head phones as default device.

Distored sound

distorted sound from external speakers or internal speakers?
isolate please. remove external speakers if you have one. just troubleshoot on the internal speakers alone.
uninstall the audio drivers. install the latest one. if fails. download then flashed the latest bios.
run diagnostics extended test to check the internal speakers. if also fails then replace the internal speakers.

Sound is working but internal speaker is not working

Connecting headphones to the system will disabled the internal speakers until the headphone jack is disconnected, at which such time the internal speakers should function again.

If you disconnect the headphones and the internal speakers are not re-activated, then there may be damaged to the microswitch in the jack. (Try rebooting after the headphones are disconnected too)
