Hello

Audio and Video Front Inputs are available

for a quick connection of a VCR, to playback

video from a camera or attach a gaming

device. Use the AV button on the remote control

to tune these inputs.

1 Connect the video (yellow) cable

from the Video output on the Camera

(or accessory device) to the Video (yellow)

Input located on the FRONT of

the TV.

2 For Stereo Devices: Connect the audio

cable (red and white) from the Audio

Left and Right Outputs on the Camera

to a Stereo to Mono adapter. Then plug

the single end of the adapter to the

Audio In (white) jack on the FRONT

of the television.

For Mono Devices: Connect one end

of the audio cable from the Audio Out

jack on the device to the Audio In
(white) jack on the FRONT of the television

3 Turn the TV and the accessory device

ON.

4 Press the AV button on the remote

control to tune the TV to the side input

jacks. "Front" will appear on the TV

screen.

5 Press the PLAY button on the

accessory device to view playback, or

to access the accessory device (camera,
gaming unit, etc.).

Repeatedly pressing the AV button on the

remote control will toggle the picture source

from the current channel, or Front input

jacks.

Note: The Audio/Video cables needed for

this connection are not supplied with your

TV. Please contact your dealer or Philips at

800-531-0039 for information about purchasing
the needed cables

I do not have a remote control for my philips tv and now need to retune a chanel. As far as I can see there is no way of doing this through the buttons on the set. Can i do this from inside the set?

Depending on how old your TV is a cheap universal remote should contain the codes for your set as a replacement. All TVs have manual tuning buttons, often the very few they have left.
Look for a heading; PROG or TUN or CH or CHAN between arrowhead symbols pointing either to left and right or up and down on any front panel of manual buttons, probably behind a swing-down flap.
There will also be a button varoiusly headed STORE or MEMORY.
There are two main procedures of manual channel tuning which both end with pressing a Store button either once or twice when you've set the channel you want.
A few minutes of experiment once you've found these should put matters right.

Need to have tv on chan. 73, for dish access

When I had Dish hooked up I had to use chanel 3 on my television or the video inputs. The Dish box will take care of all the stations that yor receive. You shouldn't have to change chanels with your tv.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.

Trying to program my guesTVision CL034 remote to control a Mitsubishi tv.

Turn on tv. On the remote, hold down 'Code Search' button until red light comes on remote. Press 'Chan +' button (on remote) repeatedly until the channel changes. Be patient, this could take lots of pushes. Once the channel changes on the tv, push the 'mute' button on the remote. You're set!
