Hotpoint WT741 Front Load- unable to open door.

I am unable to unlock the door althought the door lock light has gone out and have my babies washing in the machine. We have done another spin and pumped out the washing machine to make sure there is no water left in the machine buit still no lick.

Do you have any suggestion on we can open the door.

My door is shut and light is on flashing door on my hotpoint washing machine WT741. the door is shut and it does lock aswel so why the flashing light and no washing being done?

There is likely to be a problem with the 'door closed' sensor/microswitch requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

There may be an emergency door release tab inside the pump filter access door.....You probably have a faulty interlock which locks the door during operation and is not releasing...Not a big job for a tech.....Nomess

In most machines the filter is located under the panel in the bottom of the machine (the panel under the front door).
If u have manual refer; pull the panel out and you will find the filter there.

Before you open the filter keep a bowl & cloth to collect much water.
