I have a vt1322 tv/vcr and need a code for a universal remote contrl

You just try with these four digit codes. These codes are for Emerson TV/VCR combos.

0227 0233 0254 0264
.... 0265 0266 0310 0325 [0039 0252]

Where the code is listed as [### ###] the first is for the TV and the second is for the VCR. Otherwise just the one code operates both the TV and the VCR.

NB: Switch OFF and ON your TV with its front panel power switch [NOT BY THE REMOTE HANSET] each time, before you try an other code.
Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
