Net command is stuck on the screen. The highlight jumps from one device to the next non-stop. I've unplugged and reset but nothing will get the net command off the screen neither with the controls on the TV nor the remote.

YOU HAVE DEFECTIVE FRONT TACTILE BUTTONS. IF YOU PULL THE FRONT SPEAKER GRILL OFF YOU CAN UNPLUG CONNECTOR LABELED ZF AND IT WILL REMOVE THE BUTTONS FROM THE CIRCUIT. THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE REMOTE AND TV SHOULD FUNCTION PROPERLY. IF THE CONNECTOR ZF ISNT VISIBLE IT WILL BE BEHIND THE SMALL PANEL IN BETWEEN THE SPEAKERS. IT WILL BE A WHITE CONNECTOR WITH ABOUT 6 WIRES OR SO.

My job will not print and I cannot cancel it or clear it. I have tried unplugging the power, turning the printer off and on, sending new jobs...nothing works.

For Windows try a combination approach. Unplug the data cable from both the computer and the printer (USB). Then stop the print spooler and restart it. You could do this from the Control Panel (System Services). I find it easier to do this from the Command Prompt (For Vista and Win7 you need to run as administrator) Start > All Programs > Accessories > right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator (for older versions just left click on the Command Prompt).

At the prompt in the window, type "net stop spooler" without the quotes followed by hitting enter.
At the next prompt, type "net start spooler" again without the quotes and then hit enter.
(Press y if you are prompted with a warning about fax service after the first command). Then restart the computer after you see another prompt.

Once your computer has rebooted, check if the spooler is empty before reconnecting the data cable. Then try to print another job.

I hope this helps.

(you can actually stop the service without restarting it and then reboot. However, you need to take a long coffee break before the spooler finishes clearing the stuck document.)

Where do you find the print spooler? I tried typing it in the start search box and it showed up, but when I clicked on it, I got nothing. I am running Windows Vista. My roommate has a bad habit of getting...

One place to find the print spooler (queue) is from the start button. Look for Printers and Devices (IIRC) in the list on the right side near the Control Panel link. Click on the command and then double click on your printer, then click on See what's printing or the line about the printer queue. (or right click on the printer and choose see what's printing). From this control panel, you will also see a triangle if there is an Windows device error and can troubleshoot that error.

Sometimes the problem is something stuck in the queue that can't be deleted. In that case try stopping and restarting the spooler. Start > All Programs > Accessories > right click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator. In the subsequent window, type "net stop spooler" without the quotes followed by hitting enter. On the next line, type "net start spooler" again without the quotes and hit enter. After that command executes, restart the computer. Check the spooler and try printing again. (If you get a query about stopping other services, type Y and enter. The service will restart on rebooting.)

I hope this helps.

I am having problems getting my printer to delete a job, what do I do. I've cancled the print job, restarted the computer, unplugged the printer from the computer and nothing has worked...can you help me...

In Windows, you can force the queue to empty from a command prompt window (or Start > Run) With Vista and Win7, right click and Run as Administrator. You can also do this by stopping the spooler service in services.msc . Run services.msc and click stop then start, Apply, and OK.

For the command prompt (or Run) type "net stop spooler" <enter> without the quotes; then type "net start spooler" <enter> (again without the quotes). Next reboot the computer. The queue should be empty after the reboot. (If you only do the first command, it can take a long coffee break before the queue resets.)

I hope this helps.
