Which one refill kit I need on this page?

HP Easy Refill Kit for (HP) Color Inkjet Cartridges Printer

Printer will not accept new cartridges. Printer is new and wants original cartridges to initialize ink system. Original cartridges are not availible. Tryed reset but did not work.

HP printers will not accept refilled cartridges. Are you trying to replace your empty cartridges with refilled cartridges? There is a computer chip in the ink cartridge that tells the printer when it is out of ink. If you try and refill it yourself, the printer will not recognize that it has been refilled without replacing the computer chip in it.

I think your printer is telling you that it needs HP brand cartridges that are original and not refilled cartridges. There is no way to "reset" an hp printer to get it to use an off brand or refilled cartridge that has not had the chip changed.

You can pick up a good refilled cartridge at a professional company who knows about changing the chip for less then a third of the regular price of an HP cartridge in a department store. However, HP does not want you to use refilled cartridges and should something go wrong with your computer and they find out that you were using them they will void your warranty on your printer.

If you are not trying to replace HP brand cartridges with refilled or off brand versions, I suggest your return them to where you bought them and exchange them. They may be defective cartridges.

Hope this helps?

How to refil konica minolta toner

Hi,

Shop for the appropriate refill kit. When purchasing a refill kit, double-check to be sure that the toner in the kit is compatible with the toner required for your model of Konica Minolta printer.
  • Step 2 Empty the old printer cartridge. Be sure to completely empty the printer cartridge that you plan to refill. A compressed air can is ideal for this purpose and can be purchased online or at most office supply stores.
  • Step 3 Remove the plug. The cartridge plug may be covered by a colored end plate, depending upon the model of your Konica Minolta printer. Simply unscrew the end plate, and then remove the plug. If using a screwdriver to remove the plug, be careful not to puncture the plug, as this will cause the toner to leak out of the cartridge and into your printer.
  • Step 4 Refill the printer cartridge. Shaking the powder in the refill toner bottle before attempting to pour it into the cartridge will cause it to pour much more easily. Do not squeeze the bottle, but allow the toner to simply pour out. Replug the cartridge, and gently shake or rock it back and forth two or three times to evenly distribute the toner powder inside the cartridge.
  • Step 5 Check for leaks. Before returning the cartridge to the printer, check the outside of the cartridge for any powder particles that may have spilled or leaked during the refill process. Wipe the particles off the cartridge, and gently shake it once more to check again for leaks. If no powder particles appear, then it should be safe to return the cartridge to the printer.
  • Step 6 Return the cartridge to the printer. Once you have refilled the printer cartridge and have checked for leaks, you may now return it to the printer. Go to your printer properties/settings and select the option to indicate that a new printer cartridge has been installed. Print a sample page to check print quality

  • Please post your feedback and Vote if the problem resolved as per your satisfaction.

    818 cartridge refilling

If you mean the HP DeskJet F380 cartridges (the HP 21 and HP 22 cartridges) you will have unreliable success refilling these cartridges either yourself or online, at Costco, Office Max, and Walgreens. These refillers generally don't have fantastic quality control or knowledge of printer cartridges. I suggest Cartridge World or Office Depot refills. If you mean the HP Photosmart C8180 (the HP 02 cartridges) refilling them is easy but you need to replace the chip on the cartridge for it to work in your printer. As long as a refilled cartridge has a new chip it should work in your machine. Again I recommend Cartridge World or Office Depot refills.

    Ink cartridge refill

You can't refill these cartridges yourself. Sure you can get ink and inject it in, but your printer remembers the serial number of each cartridge and how many pages you've printed with it. Because it remembers this information it turns off the cartridge electronics to prevent the use of refills. I would try to get refills for the black but not the color cartridge. I own a Cartridge World ink refilling store and we have a high return rate on the color cartridges. It seems the printers are extremely finicky about color refills. If you get a black refill and your printer won't print with it, exchange it for another one because you happened to get a cartridge with the same serial number as the last one you had. I recommend Cartridge World refills, then Office Depot brand refills.

I need to reset my ink levels so my X3550 refilled cartridges

If you have refilled the cartridges you got along with the printer, you can't reset them. 23 and 24 are not meant to be refilled. They are what Lexmark call "return program cartridges"- they can't be refilled, you can send them back to Lexmark ( that's why they are called "return cartridges"). You need to buy either 23A and 24A or 34 and 35, those cartridges are refillable.
Here is a link to Lexmark, with a list of cartridge compatibility for your printer:

Put in refilled colour cartridge, still flashing e5.

NEVER USE A REFILLED CARTRIDGE on your printer, they just cause problems and if the computer chip on the back of your cartridge is outdated refilling will not work.

ALWAYS use new brand name cartridges and you will be safe.

    Refilled my Dell Ink Cartridge

yes, it's safe, and if you are dissatisfied with the cartridge, take it up with the cartridge re-filler...better yet, spend about $100 on a black & white laser printer (HP), and get 2000 pages per cartridge, and reduce cost per page by 20 times or more! And If you buy compatibles for this (which are more reliable) -save even more.
