Saeco Incanto Classic Espresso Machine Logo

Hi there, I have a saeco incanto classic manual machine (had it for 1 week). The machine says it wants more beans (red light flashing) but it is full already. I have tried to empty the bean container twice, but no result. Any advice?

The light comes on for two reasons. One is out of beans - the other is coffee cake thing is full. Sometimes the brewing device ( that big thing inside the door) will have a bit of coffee cake in it. Just take it out ( Squeeze tab and slide out) and rinse in sink. place back in. Very common issue so get comfortable with sliding this thing out to clean

Why aren't the beans being ground?

try pushing the beans into the grind mechanism while it is grinding or turning the grinder knob but only when grinding, or try different beans

My bean light won't stop blinking red!

Hi
Turn you big knob in the bean hopper up all the way to the largest #, then try again. If it clears the and makes a coffee do it 1 more time then turn the big knob back down while the grinder is running but don't turn it down as far as you had it before,(1 to 2# higher)

Stuck grinder

Hi,

make sure you not get any damp into the grinder. If you have damp in the grinder then it do not grind the beans.

Incanto-classic coffee beans do not flow to grinder

The machine automatically stir the beans since the blade make vibration and doing that shake the bean all around.Make sure the the tank is half full so the weight will help on that.If the container is almost empty the bean will fly around and don`t get in the grinder.Back up the machine to the original factory grinding and try to adjust again the wheel

Saeco italia

ok turn the machine on and wait till warmed up. Open door while machine is on and remove the dreg drawer. This you always need to do when the machine is on otherwise it will not reset.
flashing means dreg drawer steady means coffee beans

Saeco Incanto Flashing Red Bean Light

I found a machine in my dentist's office with this exact same problem. I'm not familiar with the model, so I downloaded a manual for the closest model I could find online (the Sirius), and it offered no help -- but in 8 languages!

I ended up just pulling the drip tray, pulling the box where the grounds end up, and re-inserting the assembly (all while the machine was on.) When I buttoned it up again, it worked.

Hope this helps (although I can see how it might not...)
