What is your printer model? You might check for any small pieces of paper left under the rollers. Sometimes a small piece is left when you yank out a jammed paper. Check it out.

Paper will not feed

Hi, maybe there is still a little bit of jammed inside that you can\'t see. Try to see if there is and clean it. If you\'re sure there is no paper jam whatsoever, then there is a conflict with your feeding sensors or your cartridge isn\'t properly installed.

Getting message that I have a paper jam but there isn't on to be fpund

Try checking the printer for foreign objects that might be interfering with the paper path. Tilt the printer sideways and try shaking it a bit. After that, try printing. If the issue persists, clean the rollers of the printer.

Canon MX330 paper output slot has paper jam error. How to clean sensor

I just solve the problem and it's pretty simple. Just turn off the printer and put paper on the printer, then you turn it on and make sure the paper goes out from the other side; and done the warning message disappear (if the paper don't go inside the printer force it to go inside).

My printer gives an error message "paper jam" when there isn't any jam

Paper is nearly always sensed with little, black levers that are pushed out of the way as the paper passes over it. Inkjet printers normally have just one sensor, while laser printers often have three to localize a jam in the paper path. Take out the paper and drum/toner assemblies and look carefully for the levers. See if they wiggle freely. Since they must be delicate enough to be pushed aside by a sheet of paper, it doesn't take much dust to stick one down, giving a false jam reading. A little wiggling and blowing might fix it.

Printer indicates Paper Jam 2. I followed all the steps. However, there isn't any paper jam. How do I clear this error? It will not clear.

There is an issue with fuser exit sensor on this printer. They will report false paper jams. A small part needs to be replaced to solve the issue.

The Lexmark x342n all in one printer gives the error code 200.20 i took out the paper jam and tried to print again but it still gives the same fault i also can the drum and tried again but it only...

General tip: If the paper tears when you pull a jam out of the printer, spread the paper out and make sure you have all of the pieces. A small shred left inside can cause another jam.

"I also can the drum" - does this mean you discarded the printer cartridge? I've never seen a cartridge cause a jam. Usually an accordion-fold jam in this area is the result of the fuser rollers not turning or a torn fuser sleeve. A jam without an accordion fold indicates that the paper did not make it into the toner deposition area soon enough - this could be a problem with the pickup roller or the next set of rollers. Worn or dirty rollers can work intermittently before they quit completely.

Also, check the paper detection flag to make sure it isn't hanging up (this is a black plastic tab that sticks into the paper path just before the paper goes under the cartridge, and is pushed up or down by the paper). Look for the U-shaped optical detector that is interrupted by this flag, and make sure it isn't blocked by foreign material.

When trying to print getting error Paper Jam in Manual Feeder. There is no Jam...we tap the side of the machine and it prints....any Ideas on what causes this to happen?

There is likely a loose connection going to the manual feed paper sensor.
The printer thinks there's paper in the manual feed, but of course since there isn't any paper there, when it tries to feed the paper in from the manual feed, the next paper sensor is not tripped, so it assumes there is a jam in the manual feed.
Start testing at the manual feed sensor, and work your way back to the board it connects to.
It may be the sensor itself just needs to be cleaned - these sensors are usually optical, and spraying canned air at it will often fix it up.
Also, make sure the lever that trips the sensor isn't sticking after using the manual feed.
