Hcl sata moterbord not respons to disply ? & no bip wen the moterbord start? plez giv me ans.

My laptop HCL ME ICON L 1044 my problem is, when i power on screen are blink no disply show.this problem create after bios change select 1st boot device cd/dvd. so somebody pls help me

This means a memory error.

Take it for scanning to diagnose the actual problem. This usualy caused by a faulty computer box.

May be problem on processor cooler please replace this ,Must be problem solve.

has some one changed perhifrals in ur set up...go back into setp and load factory defaults

You may need to go into BIOS and set the SATA HD advanced properties to use legacy OS (XP is considered legacy by many SATA drivers (in BIOS). The XP CD will tell you there is no HD installed.

Your laptop probably has SATA hard disk installed in it. You will need to install from an XP SP2 or later CD for native SATA support. Otherwise you will need to get the SATA drivers for the chipset being used on the laptop and slipstream them onto a new bootable CD or go through the process of adding the drivers manually during the initial phase of the installation.

It could be that you need xp drivers for your sata hd, but it can be a problem 'cos even when you get it, xp cd will not even start to let you install them. Maybe you find bootable drivers, i don't know. Or maybe you obtain some -special version of xp with drivers for your sata preppared. And finally you can just install Vista, it should have the drivers.

Hi my name is Juan and let try to solve this did you have try to do the manual reset to the video ok lets do it first turn the unit off and turn the main switch on the back of the unit off place your finger in the on/off switch in front of the unit with your finger there turn the main switch on the back of the unit and you will heard a bip this is when the unit turns on keep your finger there and wait for a second bip once you heard the second bip remove your finger because if you keep it there for too long the unit shufts off and it won't reset the video settings so if you take your finger out at the second bip then just wait about 10 seconds and it should be a picture there thanks and hope this works for you
