I would look in owner manual to see if a demo mode exists for this set or call the maker to see if a known issue in this model.

Leaving it on overnight is not a problem. 99% chance you have a bad power supply board, 1% it is the main board.

Pluged tv in made apop and now will not work at all its a 37 inch scott flat screen
The bulb may have blown or you may have blown something on the board.

Either way, the TV is broken and not likely to be worth repairing. 37" LCD TVs sell for under $500 regular price.

Where can i get a replacement lcd screen for a scott lct37sha? Prefer used. I have tried ebay, craigs list, the manufacturer. no luck
From the exact places you have tried otherwise the new part, directly from the manufacturer - Sharp, will be more expensive than a new tv.

IF THE TV NO TURN ON THE FRONT LED IN RED CHANGE ALL 470 MF& 1000MF CAP IN POWER SUPPLY, FUSE AND VARISTOR DOWN THE BOARD. IF THE FRONT LED TURN ON IN RED ONLY CHANGE THE CAPACITORS.
