Does 945g7zmc-rs2h type of mother board supports core 2 duo or dual core processors?

Thus is should support the dual core 775 processors. (Some Pentium 4, Pentium D and Celeron D CPUs may also be compatible with the board.)

Pentuim D is a processor that has 2 x cpu in one and a core 2 duo has 2 cpu's plus 1 smart core bigger cache 
you can only upgrade to a E2140 or E2180 processor on that motherboard 
OR replace the board with a newer type

If you want to work the actual speed for the processor of a dual core take the speed for example dual core 1.8 x 2.1 =3.78 GHz 
Core 2 Duo  1.8 x 2.4 = 4.32 GHz
