A pentium d dual core eg D 925 but not the newer dual core pr core 2 duo you might have to update your bios to 0702 in order support the processor if you get the cpu error on start up, update is done with a floppy drive

Possibility?

It would be Cheaper to Just get another Mother Board with the Dual Core already on it. You would have to Change a Multitude of things on the Board that you have to make it Compatible.
