Try inserting the memory card into an USB card reader and then plug it into a different computer. If this computer does not detect the memory card then the memory card is probably faulty.

How do I upload pictures onto my Dell d600

If your photos are stored on a SD memory card then remove the SD memory card from the camera and insert the memory card into an USB memory card reader. Connect the USB memory card reader into the USB port of your Dell computer. The Dell wiil detect the card reader as an external storage device, you can then open the folder on the memory card that contains the photos and then copy them to your computer.

Trying to load my pic's have memory card in and it show;s all my pic.s but i want to download my new ones. This is a new laptop Dell

Insert your memory card into an USB memory card reader then insert the USB card reader into your powered up Dell computer. The Dell will see this USB card reader with the memory card as an external storage device.
You can then click on this memory card and open the folder that contains the photos. You can then select the various photos and copy them onto a folder on the C drive on your Dell laptop.

Can photos be retrieved after the computer has been reformatted?

Yes you can recover photos even after formatting the drive with the help of recovery software. You can download a good photo recovery tool from http://www.photo-recovery.net/. I have used it twice with 100% result. the good thing is that the recovered pictures have the same properties as they were before deletion.

I haved finished formatting my hp pavilion ze2000 laptop and installed the drivers but when im open it it took about 5minutes to open the desktop. Can you help me what to do?

Hello

#1
Insert your ( memory card , flash disk , cellphone , .... ) into your computer.
#2
Open up 'My Computer'. You should see it under the list of available drives.
#3
Check its contents first to make sure that you have the right drive.
#4
In 'My Computer', right-click on the drive and choose 'Format'.
#5
Leave all the options as they are and click on 'Start'. This is a non-reversible process so make sure this is what you truly wanted to do in the first place.
#6
Once the process is completed, take the memory card out and insert it into your Digital Camera or any other device. Try to browse to it to make sure it works fine now.

I have a 2GB photo disc that i don't find a place to install on the hp pavilion cpu so i can download photos from my camera

If its a flash card or memory card, you need a card reader (you can buy one for about 15 bucks and they plug into one of your usb ports). If its a photo disk, simply insert the disk into the cd rom and go to my computer and double click on the disk, then select the photos you want to keep and drag them to your my pictures folder.

DOWNLOADING PHOTOS

Take the memory card and insert it into your SD card slot. From there a screen should pop up and click on import photos. If that does not happen then go to the Start, Computer and click the removable disk Icon, when you open it highlight all and right click and move it to your documents or whereever you would like them to go

MMC card support in compaq

Well basically what you do is
1.) connect your memory card reader
2.) install the necessary drivers
3.) insert the memory card and it should show up as a removable disk in my computer similar to that of a pen)flash) drive

If the card reader is built into the computer then simply ensure the necessary drivers are installed (right click computer and select properties, then click device manager , it will show up in the list, if it has a yellow maker then it has a problem if its a question mark then it aint installed) if you dont have the drivers get them from the manufactures web page. IF everything checks out ok then put in the memory card and it will show up as a removable disk in my computer..

If you dont have a memory card reader or dont have the card reader built in then you will need to purchase one.
