Yes, leave them in. The only reason to take out the memory stick is if you have pictures stored in the camera's internal memory that you want to access instead of those on the stick.

I bought pentax optio H90 after a couple of months that i have been used it accidentally get wet by my wife...i didnt know f my wife dried it up or not as i was not there...now the pics started to appear...

It is very difficult to know what you think is distorted, because it does not say what kind of distortion. I have to say sometimes people only give four words, so you are telling a lot.
But seeing one picture could say more than 1000 words.
You think you could post just one picture? or is it impossible to add pictures when you just start here in fixya? I can't remember.

I have a pentax optio s10,lost ma ual but can,t figure out how to transfer pics from camera memory to sd card in camera, HELP!!!

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.
Organize edit and share your photos

You may view the manual at
Pentax Optio Optio S10 Operating Manual

"Copying files" begins on page 164.

You might want to consider NOT connecting your camera to the computer.

My Pentax Optio E40 Camera

The built-in memory only has about 8 pictures or so. You have to buy a memory card to insert in the same section where the batteries are inserted.
