Heres the website. You can also try upgrading the firmware for your burner. It might help with other DVD software packages.

If you are prompted to insert a CD/DVD blank disc into the Burner, you must have the proper UNUSED CD or DVD blank disk. You must use the SIZE disc that corresponds to the Size of the Data to be burned. A CD is 700 Megs thus anything greater than 700 Megs needs a larger disc such as a DVD that is 4.7 Gigs. If the data you are trying to copy to a disc is over 4.7G you need a Dual Layer DVD or BluRay that accepts 25Gigs.
are you burning a cd or dvd? burning a cd is pretty easy...windows will do most of the work for you. put a blank cd in your cd rom/ dvd burner drive. it will ask you what you want to do with the blank cd...vista usually asks you to format the disk...select ok.....a blank box will pop up....drag and drop your files to be burned into the blank box.....once you are done putting your media onto the disc....eject the disk...before the drive opens a box at the bottom of the screen says that the disc is being prepared for use on other computers. when it ejects, it should be done....you can try to put it back in to the cd drive and see if your data/media files are on the disc. ......now burning a dvd is alot more complicated....do you have software for burning dvd media? if you do, they have help me files and tutorials........some more good advice....youtube also shows good tutorial vids on burning. just type in "burn a cd or dvd".
You could try diferent burning software.it may even be a hardware fault the dvdr drive.cds and dvds burn and read data from inside to outer edge.as the laser moves out twards edge the speed of disc changes to compensate for larger distance travelled so a worn drive can sometimes start to show this fault.also sometimes only play half a film or stop at track 10 on cd
Sometimes there are firmware updates that update the compatibility of the burner with more brands and more formats. It could also be a bad batch of discs. Maybe try a different brand. Or do the CDs work in a different burner. Maybe the burner is bad or going bad. And just JFY, there are no CD+R only CD-R and RW
try 3 things. ONE AT A TIME. #1 change your burn speed to a slower setting some dvd's will not burn as fast as they say on box.
#2.update firm ware for burner go to manufacturer's web site for your brand of dvds being used.
#3 change brand of DVD used. there are 3 major manufactures for almost all dvds and cd. The people who make disc for Sony and the other 2 companies that make everybody elses. (ie TDK,Memorex, etc....)
Try different brand. Your Drive is a sensitive type and it only accepts some DVD-R brands. Also try DVD-RW disc. I had the same problem but not specifically the exact problem. My drive is cd writer only. Same problem, I just used diff CD-R brand like Imation and Philips and the burning works like a charm.
go to your burning software and look up disc info if it blank you will not be able to read it but it will show disc size space etc let me know how you get on
