Hi. I have a Samsung Sansa MP3 clip-on player. I listen to audio books all the time. I order an audio book online. It comes to me in either a regular CD or an MP3 version (however they manufacture it)....

Normally MP3 players can only play music/audio files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

Fast forwarding for listening to books

I use a Creative Zen V Plus, but have a similar problem.

First, an explanation: the issue is probably with the timecode in the audio track. This can happen when the audio file is created on a computer. The audiobook was likely "ripped" to a file from the original audiobook CD, and your player may not like the format the file is in. The best solution in this case is to recreate the audio files yourself. First remove all of the files from your Sansa for that particular book. Then use CD-burning software on your computer to create an audio CD (not a data CD!) from the files you got from the library. Finally, use the software that came with your Sansa to transfer the audio CD back to your Sansa. This way you know you are getting a correct format on your player.

If you have an additional issue (like me) where the tracks are too long and go back to the beginning every time you turn your player off, you may have to use an audio editor such as Audacity to chop the long tracks up into smaller tracks, but this is quite time consuming. It is best to acquire audiobooks in smaller tracks in the first place. This is the problem I have been faced with while using Audible.com to listen to audiobooks.

I got a MP3 Sansa e250 MP3 Player.How I can ....

You can use either Windows Explorer or Windows Media Player to transfer the files to your mp3 player. Microsoft's website has great help files on doing this, including video tutorials.

The user's manaul for this product also has instructions - you can get this from Sandisk's website.

Sansa e280 fm recordings

First, try to copy the files to your PC. Make sure you have a CD burning program and drive of some kind. WAV files are very large compared to Mp3 files, so you may be only to fit a few on an AUDIO CD. If you burn the WAV files to CD as a DATA CD, then you will be able to fit more files onto a single CD, but you will not be able to play that same CD in a CD player.

I don't know how to load music from the internet to my new mp3

the best way for that is to read your manual.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Windows XP SP1
Windows Media Player 10
Intel1.gif Pentium class PC or higher
CD-ROM drive
USB 2.0 port required for hi-speed transfer
CONNECTING AND TRANSFERRING
Connect to your Computer
1. Connect the small USB Cable Connector to the USB port on your computer, and then plug the larger
Cable Dock Connector in to your Sansa c200 port.
2. Once connected to computer, it should be detected by the operating system automatically and is
shown as an additional drive called “Sansa c200”.
SANSA MEDIA CONVERTER
You will need to use Sansa Media Converter to transfer photos to your Sansa c200. Insert your SanDisk
CD and select Sansa Media Converter to install it to your PC. Then you can load your personal photos
onto your Sansa c200 by using Sansa Media Converter.

TRANSFER MUSIC
To transfer music to your Sansa c200:
1. Connect Sansa c200 to the computer.
2. Drag and drop files from your computer to Sansa c200 by using a variety of music software
programs to transfer/synchronize your files.
3. In MTP mode as long as the files are WMA or MP3, they can be dragged into the Media folder.
Otherwise, they can be dragged into the Data1.gif folder (these files will not appear on the player).
4. In MSC mode, files/folders can be dragged/copied to the device.

Voice recordings to cd

Look in the RECORD folder for your recorded .WAV files. These files may or may not work with Windows Media Player, which can generally be used to burn music files to a CD in the CD audio (CDDA) format or .WMA music data format. Conversion of the wave files into other formats, such as .MP3 is especially difficult since many programs don't recognize the headerless format that Sansa uses for its recorded .WAV files. I had to use JetAudio to convert them.
