You could have a broken motor coupling or A loose or worn drive block. Would have to be taken apart to determine exactly the cause.

In the washer it could be under the agitator if it is a top loader, if it is a front loader there is really no place for it to go but check the rubber seal around the door. In the dryer it should be in the tumbler or possibly in the lint filter but unless the lint screen is broken or you ran it without one it should not be able to go out into the venting piping etc

Ideally, you just run the washer without any detergent and it'll rinse out all the soap. Try that first. My Cabrio started doing that all the time, then stopped spinning out all the water. It had a host of problems and I opted to replace the washer. Hopefully the water rinse will fix the problem for you.

Hit the mast with a rubber mallet. The caked on soap acts as a glue. The mallet breaks that bond.

Faulty switch, or dirty, clean or replace.

Sounds like the belt has popped off of the pulleys under the washer.I would check that first
