It's easy to buy replacement parts online for your slow cooker. See this link for the Hamilton Beach site where you can order parts http://www.hamiltonbeach.com/parts-search.html if you don't want to buy online, try an internet search with your city and the name of the product you need parts for.

The manual is available here: http://www.sharkclean.com/manual/KC271B_REV_0804B.pdf . The high and low settings are more like those of a microwave rather than a direct temperature setting. On high, the slow cooker uses full power (35 watts). On low it uses 1/2 power.

A 1,500 watt generator will run this microwave. Do not get anything any smaller. The microwave will more than likely pull at least 900 watts but you need some reserve. A 1,000 watt generator might be able to supply enough power but to be safe and sure, get a 1,500 watt. Look on the microwave and see exactly what the power output is and make sure you get a generator with some reserve. If you find this is a 700 watt microwave then a 1,000 watt generator will be fine but later on you may want a larger microwave.

The manual doesn't say what the levels are, but the cover says the AC power rating is 340 watts. Most of that would be going to the heater, and low temp should be about half that. If you need a copy of the manual, here's the download link:
