SOURCE: Power Generator

You have a brushless generator and you've already checked the capacitor that does the voltage regulation (wiring is fine).
The next thing to look at are the diodes, movs, and wires in the rotor.

SOURCE: NEED WIRING INSTRUCTION FOR CAPACITOR FOR

On top of the capacitor you will find the terminals marked. One will say C, or Com. The others will be marked fan and herm. There will be a hot wire going to C. Usually this comes of the top of the contactor and is red. Find the wire that runs to the compressor. It will likely be yellow. This will hook to the Herm. Next find the fan wire (probably brown) it will hook to the fan. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I am putting a new capacitor on a stay rite 1 1/2

Hi,
You have three wires....
one of the wires goes to the start windings of the motor (this wire is usually yellow) and goes to one side of the cap.
The other two wires are the power in and the wire to the common winding ( usually this is a black wire) of the motor....
they go to the other side of the cap....you will have one prong on the cap empty on the side with the start wire...

What can I replace my goodman CK36-1B with to be compatible

you need a 5/45 x 370 volt mfd capacitor. I just installed one in the same type of AC today. 5 mfd is for the fan moter and 45 mfd is for the compressor, the 370 is the voltage.

Fan motor is not turning. Seems to have voltage (I havent checked at the wires yet) due to humming noice at the unit. the model of the ac is lennox 13ACD-048-230-02 the motor is a Emerson modle...

If this is the out door unit, check where the humming is coming from. It is either the motor or the contactor.
If the humming is coming from the motor, the motor itself probably has the bearings worn in it, or the capacitor (looks like a battery) is shorted or open. If the capacitor is shorted it will look "pregnant" or bloated.
If the humming is coming from the contactor (the automatic switch where the power comes in to the unit) you may have a loss of power. Either the fuses are blown or breakers are tripped. There are two fuses. You can't tell by looking at them if they are blown, so change them both. There are also two breakers. Pull them all the way down, then back up.
If the bearings[bushings] are worn in the motor, the motor will have to be replaced.
You also did not say whether or not the compressor was running or not. Knowing this would tell me a lot. Hope this helps you

Fan motor on condensor not starting. I have located the capacitor but unable to recognise any writing. it is a12000btu split unit.

There are two type capacitor. One for running capacitor for compressor and one for condenser fan motor by each separate capacitor. Some times two in one capacitor being used. Just check in your condenser unit, in your 2 in one capacitor, there are three parts and one has four pins and other two has each two pins where you can clip the wire.Remove existing wires and replace same with new capacitor.

Now, in this capacitor near each each part mention as "C" "H" " F". Cmeans compressor common and H means for compressor starting and F means fan starting. Be careful don't interchange any wire.
And also while replace capacitor don't add or reduce the mfd. Ex.. your existing capacitoris 35+3 mfd means 35mfd for compressor function and 3 mfd for fan motor function. Hope helpful.
