We have an Eager ****** 14"es Electris chain saw. The numbers on the handle are 4001205 190 and under that is 11-012003 one of those are serial numbers. The problem is the screw of link is missing so the bar and chain cannot be tightened. We do not have a parts list. We live in Thomaston CT. Is there a parts store in our vacinity where we can get the missing part?

The model number for your saw (I think, thanks for supplying the numbers) is "11-400102-05. A link to an IPL (exploded parts list) follows:
http://www.ordertree.com/modelinfo/MCC/11-400102-05-EAGER-******-14-ES-05%2F89-to-08%2F92-IPL-223320/139.11-400102-05-EAGER-******-14-ES-05%2F89-to-08%2F92-IPL-223320.1.59.1.html
Chain tension parts are on the "General Assembly" print.
Screw pn "223088", item 8,
Nut pn "68656, item 9,
Retaining Ring pn "110907",
These parts are not available through the McCulloch Outlet.

All are available here (I suggest you contact them by phone; it is very difficult to explain how to find their diagrams and there is no additional charge for phone service):

What is the correct fuel/oil mixture for an older Eager ****** 16 inch chain saw?

It really depends on the model number of your Eager Beav er unit. Anything within the last 6 years is 50 to 1 older models can be anywhere from 25 to 1, to 32 - 1 up to 40 - 1. t all depends on the model number.

The usual fuel mixture is 40 - 1 or 3.2 oz. per gallon.

Your chain saw would have to be pre-1995 to use a mixture greater than 40-1. If your chain saw is other than that then use a 32 - 1 ratio. 4.oz per gal.

This is a great fuel mixture calculator:

If you know your model number you can use this page to get an owners / operators manual:

Need a chain for 14in electric poulan chain saw the normal 14 in chain does not list the electric saw as one it will fit

Hello Jennifer;
The number of drive links, pitch and gauge of the chain need to be determined to answer your question. If you take your saw or just the chain to a local chain saw outlet a new chain can be fabricated in a very few minutes. This will save shipping and handling fees as well. While there get the numbers mentioned above. Once you have these you can likely find a low kickback chain in a local home center the next time the chain needs replacement.
The FAQs here can likely answer all your questions.

Where do I find a replacement chain for my McCulloch Eager ****** 2318av chain saw (model # 600038-12)?

Your friendly neighborhood chainsaw shop can fabricate one in about 5 minutes. Take your existing chain for use as pattern.

McCulloch.com
http://www.ordertree.com/modelinfo/MCC/11-600038-12-EAGER-******-2316-SUPER-06%2F93-to-05%2F96-IPL-211318/139.11-600038-12-EAGER-******-2316-SUPER-06%2F93-to-05%2F96-IPL-211318.1.59.1.html
If original 18" bar.
part number(pn) MCC 21927533

Oregon Bar & Chain Selector (again original 18" bar)
http://www.oregonchain.com/commonpgm/Selguide_Selctmfg.asp?BusId=OCS&SellReg=USA&LangId=ENG&ShowRem=Y&ShowAnsi=Y&ShowQuality=Y&ShowCombo=Y&usertype=OCC
Your saw with 18" bar returns
Oregon pn 91VG060G.
This can be easily crossed to other manufacturers chain. You might consider a more aggressive chain (dependent on your level of expertise). HTH

You did not provide a model or serial number so my best advise is to download the OM for your saw. Find the "Fitting the bar and chain" section. The procedure is explained quite fully there: HTH
