Most machines will have a z bend in the end of the throttle wire, the outer cable will be anchored with a square block into the induction block, the z bend in the cable will then fit into a hole in the throttle spindle on the carb, there will only be one hole in the spindle the correct size for the cable.

Some carbs have obvious adjustments ("H" for high speed, "L" for low speed or idle. )

Some however are hidden. Heres a video showing how to find theses hidden adjustments.

i don't know. please be careful. different oil used for air vs water cooled engines. if info not on engine near fuel filler, details should be in owner's manual or from boat engine retailer. also, new vs used motors may use different ratios.

According to the manual, the gasoline to oil ratio for the Power Mac 320 depends on the lubricating oil. McCullough 40:1 Two-Cycle Custom Lubricant is recommended. However, any good SAE 40 two-cycle oil should be used at a 20:1 ratio.

See page 7 of the owner's manual. This is available from ManualsLib, https://www.manualslib.com/products/Mcculloch-Power-Mac-320-3983820.html . The direct link to the proper page is https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1011585/Mcculloch-Power-Mac-310.html?page=7#manual .

I hope this helps.

Setting the points is very easy. First you need to make sure they are flat and clean. One side gets a hole and the other side gets a cone. Use a diamond file to flatten them off. Setting the points is done at the widest point when you turn the engine. Where the piston is doesn't matter. Gap the points using a feeler gauge.
