There is no diagram. it is a simple system the coil for the plug has a kill wire that runs up to the thumb switch. page 31 of the service manual shows the connectors. Make sure the wires are not rubbed through.

replace the decompression valve. also check for carbon buildup on top of piston. usually when a saw stops on its own after 5 min or so.... the piston and jug are scored and need to be replaced.
