I have lost the remote control for my Emerson VCR model EUV 601. Is it possible to buy a replacement?

Several places have replacement remotes for the EMV404, including http://www.amazon.com/EMERSON-Replacement-Remote-Control-NA372UD/dp/B009H5QVNO and http://www.remotes.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=EMV404 . Many universal remotes may also work. Try codes for Emerson, if available or Funai. The Emerson VCR was made by Funai . Unfortunately, the manual is not available here: http://www.funai-corp.com/support/manuals.aspx . However, they do have a manual for the EWV404 which uses the same remote codes. You have built-in features that correspond between the TV and The Hand held controller designed by Emerson. Universal remotes are lacking some features that are necessary for full function of the TB. In your case, you may be required to replace the hand held unit with another exactly alike and with all of the functions you are accustomed to.
