Just replaced toner cartridge and cleaned drum in Xerox XE82

Just replaced toner cartridge and cleaned drum in a Xerox Workcentre XE82 copier-printer. Now have error code E7. Have cleared the code several times using the multiple button technique, but code re-occurs no matter how many times I clear it.

Hi, the error code E7 can be cleared by switching off the main power, wait for 5 seconds and switch the power on. Repeat 2 or 3 times and if problem persist please call 1-800-832-6979.

If the line is vertical it will either be your drum or fuser are the most likely causes. Visually check each component for the corresponding line on both the photoreceptor drum and the fuser heat roller.

How do I change the toner cartridge on a 4150 workcentre. Where is it?

Open the front access cover and find the toner cartridge unit on the left, next to the drum. Unlatch it and slide out the toner.

Xerox WorkCentre XD125F- need manual

The spec sheet has the toner cartridge and drum cartridge part numbers (listed as Supplies)

Toner Cartridge 6R914;
Drum Cartridge 13R551

When copier has printed about 18,000 pages the J2 drum cartridge light will come on. The unit will print about another 1,000 pages before the unit stops working until the drum cartridge is replaced.

I have a Xerox XD125F Workcentre. The J2 toner

1. turn off XD125f
2. Turn on
3. within 4 seconds press, clear, auto, clear, auto. LED Should go blank,
if not try again
4. use copy quantity keys to enter 24, then push start
5. Again use copy quantity keys to enter 7, then push start
6. turn off
when you restart the cartridge count will be set to zero

I have done this twice and never replaced the drum cartridge.

Black streaks in copy. i have cleaned the drum and replaced the toner cartridge. anything else to try for this older xe80/xe82

You cleaning blade for the drum may be needing replacement, mite have some harden toner on the cleaning blade alowing toner to run around the bad/hard toner leaving streaks

Replaced toner cartridge and copy had line of toner on edge -

Check the ink modual again.
if the ink is all on the upper and lower lip it needs to be wiped off.
Sometimes when shaking this modual, exessive ink can go on the surface and scrub on the drum itself.
How did you clean the drum?
Nothing should be used except a very soft dry cloth. The toner acts as a lubricant to the cleaning moducal.
Take out the toner modual and see if you can tilt the modual back away so it falls to the back of the modual, this way there will not be so much at the front developer mag roller.

Printer Stopped

J2 is the drum cartridge, or some people call it print cartridge has reached the end of its life.
J1 is the toner cartridge, J2 is the drum.

XEROX WORKCENTRE XL2120

J2 means the drum cartridge needs replaced.
Its next to the toner.
