SOURCE: propane will not come thru burners

sounds like your propane tank has an air-lock(the gas is trapped in bottom of tank with air on top of it)you need to take your tank into service depot and get them to purge the tankof all the air in it.

SOURCE: Weber Grill, Genesis Silver A Burner Replacement Instructions

Thanks for your inquiry. In checking around, new parts will cost me $45- $50, plus your fees for instructions and several hours of my time. I checked prices at Home Depot today and have decided just to buy a new grill and enjoy it without all the mess.

SOURCE: Side burner on propane gas grill burns with orange

here is a link to a page that shows what the colors of the flame should look like and what causes the orange instead of the blue flame. http://www.appliance411.com/faq/gas_range_flames.shtml
I would begin by checking to be sure you do not have a spider or a cob web in the burner partially blocking the gas or the air intake.

Can not control the temperature

if you are using a gas grill then, 1 open the valve on the fuel tank all the way, 2 be sure to check an see if the knobs controlling the flame on the burners are working all the way. if not replace them, propane is dangerous building up in grill an will explode. 3 make sure your hoses are not leaking, 4 you will lose control of temps if gas is low. 5 some grills are difficult to control temps because or the way burners are placed and height. it is a learning process with all grill. mine works different than my neighbors.

I had my charbroil grill for 2 yrs and I now when I turn on the propane tank and ignite, I hear hissing followed by it lighting then flames proceed to come out the front middle burners. Do I need a new...

Before buying anything, look into the burners for spider webs. The webs block gas from getting to the burner and will fire back. This is dangerous. Look carefully where the gas nozzle enters the burner tube.

I am smelling propane at the cooking surface when I turn the burner knob to the ignite position. I have been unable to determine the source of the leak. We've had the grill for a couple of years and have...

When the knob is in the ignite position, the gas should be coming out of the burners at a rate sufficient enough to light. It's normal to smell it before the igniter (either electric or push-button) ignites the gas.
If you recently moved the grill with the internal parts still inside it, it's quite possible the burner tubes have become loose in the holders. They are quite easy to remove because they are a commonly replaced component. Remove the grates and flavorizer bars according to your manual, and you should be able to reach in and check the position and snugness of the burner tubes.
Make sure you close the propane valve and disconnect the tank before doing this. Also, don't smoke when working on your grill. :)

The sticker on the side says it has been converted from Natural Gas to Propane Gas, however it has been red taged by the propane company because it has not been converted.

Do you know how your propane company determined it had not been converted? The only real way, is to take the grill grates out, remove the burners and look at the burner(s) orifice's. I'm not saying the LP company is wrong, I'd just like to know how they made that decision?

If they are correct, all that's needed is to replace the burner orifices with LP Gas orifices and adjust the air intake openings on the burners. This grill is one of only a handful that is approved to be converted from one gas type to another. You can find the orifices at http://www.appliancefactoryparts.com//brands.html

Hope this helped solve your problem.

Happy Grilling!

Need photo of how to replace the 5 "V" shaped

The 'V' shaped metal bars are the flavorizer, flame tamer or whatever Weber wants to cal them. They go over top of each burner from front to rear, setting on the ledge of the interior of the grill, just above the burners. make sure that cover each burner equally. Now's a good time to clean them if they have a lot of grease on them.

Since the grill was blown off your deck ... make sure all the burners are intact are not damage and there are no gas leaks from tank to the grill.

Yes, the model and serial number is below the grill. My burners are also corroded. I have a natural gas with three burners, rotisarrie, smoker. It is also a 36". My # is ZGG36N31YSS. I have seen the YSS be CSS for propane grills. Hope this information helps :) If it does, I have found two sites with the burners; partsadvantage.com and appliance-parts-warehouse.com.

Run around $120 for one burner :(

Grillpro model # 236464 owner's manual

Don't buy GrillPro grills they are junk!!!!!! I have had a GrillPro Model #236464 Stainless Steel Grill and after Three Seasons it has rusted to peices!!!! All Three burners and all Three Flavor Guards and both Channel Cross lites have rusted to a big pile of rust peices. I called GrillPro which is Manufacturered by Onward Manufacturing Company Limited in Canada and all of these pieces have been on back order for over a month and the company says they don't expect the parts anytime soon. Onward Manufactures the following brands:Broil King, Broil-mate, Sterling, Barbecue Genius and GrillPro. I have looked at several of these brands at Menards and they all use the same type of Burners and Flavor Guards that are in my grill so unless you want a big pile of Rust after three years of use I would avoid all of these Brands!!!!!! Forget the problems Take it back where bought and buy something else!! These brands will let you down! Al Gavin - 515-238-3920
