Igniter is combined in the valve of grill so the best way is change the new one. or cross flame from other burner.

You clearly have a gas leak. Inspect the suspect area for loose connections like the gas delivery pipe to the burner assembly. Try to reconnect them. If there is a hole in it you can use some muffler repair adhesive but I would just get a new part. Often the company will send you free parts as a good gesture to assure encourage repeat business. Check out the links below. The second one offers free shipping.

Your venturi could be clogged up. clean the burner holes with a straightened paperclip, then take the burners out and do the same to the venturi that deliver gas to the burners. If that doesn't do it, you may have a bad regulator.

the regulator could have gone into lock up.
try this to unlock it...
  1. Open the BBQ Lid
  2. Turn ALL main control knobs to the "OFF"/CLOSED position
  3. Turn the Propane tank valve to the "OFF"/CLOSED position
  4. Disconnect the Regulator hose from the Propane tank
  5. Turn ALL main control knobs to the "ON"/OPEN position
  6. Let stand for 1-2 minutes, allowing all excess gas in valves and manifold to dissipate
  7. Turn ALL control knob back to the "OFF"/CLOSED position
  8. Reconnect the regulator hose to the Propane tank- hand tighten only.
  9. Check all hose connections to ensure that a positive seal has been made
  10. SLOWLY turn "ON"/OPEN the propane gas supply
  11. Wait approximately 5 seconds for the regulator pressure to stabilize
  12. Turn "ON"/OPEN the selected burner control knob to "HI"
  13. Press the Multi Spark ignition button or match light selected burner.
  14. Hope this helps you has me in the past!

the flames should be blue and the burners clean. check gas pressure and the air mixture dampers. touch air will give you the same effect. if the burners are clean, it is the mixture. as far as the slots in the bottom. i have not seen that. but i work on commercial ranges.
