Verify that your phone's mic is working when attached to a bluetooth device (other than the stereo). This is to verify that it is the stereo and not your phone. If it passes you may want to try deleting the numbers in the stereo's bluetooth memory and then pair your phone to the stereo. I believe your stereo only holds three numbers.

do you need the wiring for the deck or for the car(or both)

aux cable to the front of the radio is only solution
or a sony with streaming audio

Sounds like the antenna cable is either unplugged or faulty.Remove the unit and check that the cable is plugged in.If it is then replace antenna and cable.

Hi! I just figured this out myself. The radio only sends the phone call audio to the front speakers. My car only has wires for one set of speakers, so I chose the rear channels. I just rewired to the front channels instead. Solved! Bad on Pioneer, there is absolutely no mention of this in the installation or operation manual.

Hi,

Pls verify your wiring. The Pioneer DEH-P4100 uses the below speaker wiring.

whereas a typical 2000 Ford Mustang that does uses an external amplifier would be using the below wiring scheme in its two (2) connectors.
