Magnavox TV model# FP5220 W101, Chassis#PTV705-AH01
Its a Magnavox TV model# FP5220 W101, Chassis# PTV705-AH01. Set start out with sound: ok, alright; I pulled the PTV Large Signal Board...has 2 ICs, IC401 and IC402...I was told that they're both the same, but when replaced both with NTE1765, IC402 got very hot...so, I put the original IC back and now set is dead. The IC401(original)has 612664-2 on it...IC402(original)has 612771-1, ok; Now, I can't find any info on the part or a cross-reference...I really needs some type of service manual or schematic for this TV. Man, if u could help Me here, it would be greatly appreciated. My home number:214-703-8005. I have also added u to my email contacts.
sgtdar, list the model & chassis number (located on back of tv), if set is old the universals won`t work because as more newer sets come out they delete the older ones because the chip in the remote will only hold so many codes, BMW Rider

Not easy with a older set----look to see if a physical control exists in the set for Vertical size (picture too tall) and the adjustment may only exist in a hidden on screen menu.
Hi. This is actually a Magnavox tv, but Philips-Magnavox is all one company so it's ok.
The tv is a Magnavox model # PTV515-AH01
This is a 46" projection tv.
This model is no longer made, as it is older technology, but I am sure that there is something of equal size and quality available for you to get.
I would probably get something like a Panasonic Viero tv. They have excellent picture quality, multiple inputs, hdmi jacks, and have a good warranty as well.
They usually run around $450-$550 U.S., so they are a great value.
I hope this helps you out on your decision today, good luck to you, and have a good day !
Yea. Your model FP5210 is much older than one with digital SSB board. Still would think that the mute is being activated; probably by the ucontroller/cpu IC.
the picture driver has gone bad, look on ebay for one, make sure it looks just like the one you have, or it could be the verisitor has gone bad it's a kool fix
