We have Insignia NS-FTV27 - when you turn TV on the picture is only in the middle of the TV. After it warms up, it stretches out on the bottom of the screen but at the top 6" it is black and where the picture starts it looks it is rolling over on itself. Can this be fixed....TV is only about 4 years old

Hello, Check for bulged capacitors if found replace with the same type , also check for dry soldering and if found resolder them. with this the television should be working effectively....

There are two parts for the remote to work. The remote itself, (the transmitter), and the receiver, which is in the tv. If you tried another remote with no difference, then the problem is the remote receiver in the tv. These are inexpensive and easy to replace but they are soldered on the circuit board. If you are not familiar with soldering, defer to an expert. Most of the bill will be labor as the parts cost should be less than $20.00.
